HGotW: David Cook

It's Thursday and HGotW is back! I'm sorry I haven't been around as much as I used to be. However, I do have to say that the pressure if OFF and now I can just post when I feel the urge. I like it this way.

This weeks Hot Guy is awesome! This guy can sing! I mean, he has got a massively fantastic voice! I like to listen to the words of songs when I'm listening to musuc but there are certain singers that just have voices that captivate me. When the song is over I find that I've concentrated so hard on the voice that I missed what the song was about. (A good excuse to go back and listen again.) Today's HGotW falls into that catergory.

I fell in love with him when he was on American Idol (the last real season I watched) and I'm still loving him. I have his CD and I'm on the edge of my seat waiting for another one!

It must be music week on my blog because the girl I've chosen for today is also part of the music industry.

I'm a fan of this girl for a few reasons. I really enjoy her voice and her music. (Even though country is rarely my thing.) I also think (though I don't know her personally) that she might be a better choice of a role model for young girls today than say . . . Miley Cyrus?

It just seems to me that I've never seen this girl do half naked photo shoots or pole dance. So, right there, she already gets points from me. If I had a daughter I would much rather my daugther be a fan of this young lady than of Miley Cyrus. (But, that's just me.)
